Based in Marseille, LabSud contributes each year to strengthening the professional network of authors in the South Region and supports them in writing their first or second feature film. This year, LabSud took place from September 29 to October 3, 2025, during a five-day session held in Marseille, under the artistic direction of Adriano Valerio, with the guidance of Alain Layrac and Sabrina Amara.
This year, we had the pleasure of welcoming eight residents and their projects:
Alexis Hellot – Elias (produced by Sepulveda, Fulgurance Films)
Sélin Oksuzoglu – Genko sans maison (produced by Kevin Chaty, Les Films de l’Après-Midi)
Virginie Bluzat – Corps à corps (produced by François Dupont, Gorilla Group)
Benjamin Loniewski – Enfants de la Patrie
Romuald Andrade – Black Santa (produced by Entourage Film)
Fanny Cestier – Troisième degré
Clément Bompart – Vestiaire clos (produced by Luca Mongai, Silencio Pictures)
Damien Gault – Juste un homme
As every year, we offer one of the LabSud laureates the opportunity to be selected for the following edition of the LabMed program.
This year, Clément Bompart’s project Vestiaire Clos has been chosen.
We are pleased to invite him to join the next edition of LabMed, across three sessions, alongside our future authors from across the Mediterranean region.
We were delighted to welcome these authors and support their projects.
May these days at Meditalents give real momentum to their films, we look forward to following their journeys.
We are also deeply grateful to our mentors, whose guidance has greatly enriched this year’s Labs.
A year filled with creativity, collaboration, and shared energy, thank you all for making it possible.
