Mouni Bouallam is a multidisciplinary artist: actress, producer and theatre director. After studying political science and international relations at the University of Constantine (2007), she trained in filmmaking at ISMAS in Algiers (2015), then obtained a Master's degree in theatrical directing at Aix-Marseille Université in 2024. That same year, she founded the production company Moon Light Film in Algeria. In 2015, she directed her first documentary *La Mariée de la Casbah*, before pursuing a career as an actress in cinema and television. In 2025, she directed the stage production *Carnaval Romain* and is developing her second documentary, *The Thread and the wall*.
