Born in Beirut in 1991, Mark Karam graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor's degree in Film from the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik - USEK. Mark has directed 4 short films selected in various international festivals and has worked as a digital editor and agency producer at Mirum, JWT, videographer in the humanitarian sector and currently he is Social Media and Promo manager at Warner Music Middle East.MiaKhara is the first feature film written by Naim Asmar and Mark Karam and will be directed by Mark Karam in 2022. Everyone thinks his family is the craziest, but that may change, especially when Mark decides to make a documentary about his mother and aunts: Lena, Yolla, Beba and Voulla. All the events in this film will be seen through Mark's camera as he tries to reveal their secrets. They are comfortable enough to discuss the most intimate parts of their bodies while keeping their religious beliefs in mind. Granted, the Andriottys are no ordinary family, but one of her aunts takes the competition to a whole new level. So what seems like a very easy and overly accomplished task will actually get out of hand. But all their efforts fail when she announces her return as La Divina Maria Callas. Yolla believes she is the reincarnation of Callas.
