When Meditalents paths cross the 2026 César Awards.

On the occasion of the 2026 César Awards, several paths that have crossed Meditalents are appearing in the current selection.

We are particularly pleased to follow the remarkable journey of Aude Py, LabMed 2025 mentor, whom we will be delighted to welcome back in 2026. A renowned screenwriter and now Head of the Screenwriting Department at La Fémis, Aude Py is the screenwriter of Amélie and the Metaphysics of the Tubes, a film whose international trajectory is truly outstanding. Premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, the film was also selected in the official selection of the Annecy International Animation Film Festival. It then continued its journey with a nomination at the Golden Globe Awards, followed by a nomination at the Academy Awards – Oscar for Best Animated Feature, and is now nominated for the César for Best Animated Film.

Also among the nominated films is Le Cinquième Plan de la Jetée by Dominique Cabrera, nominated for the César for Best Documentary Film. A committed filmmaker and member of Meditalents’ Board of Direction, Dominique Cabrera has for many years supported the reflection, artistic rigor and values upheld by the association. Congratulations to her on this nomination !
