About the Author

Background

Director, after studying at ESSEC, he directed his first documentary Palestines in 2006 selected at the Locarno Festival. He then founded the production company Babel in India in 2007, then in the United States in 2010 and in Brazil in 2013. Living mainly in New Delhi, he produced during these years nearly 400 magazines and documentaries for television. In 2020, he decided to leave his role as producer to return to directing in Marseille.

Aged 14 to 19, five teenagers crossed deserts and seas, alone. Now in Marseille, these girls and boys carry within them the burning hope of a new life. They are learning a trade, a country, new customs, and for some, even a new language. “Everything’s fine,” they stubbornly tell their families.
