About the Author

Background

After 10 years spent in various countries where she developed experience in the visual arts, print and radio journalism, as well as cinema, she returned to France in 2001.She then embarked on the collective realization of multi-disciplinary poetic and political creation/workshops (plastic arts- theater- cinema. After 2007, she turned to the creative documentary Nos sillons (33 minutes on the Franco-Algerian wounds), La raison d'espérance (short fiction film, 33 minutes, Acis productions), Geste après geste (66 minutes/Kaléo films). She is currently finishing the shooting of her second feature documentary in Morocco: Mostafa Derkaoui, fauteuil de cinéaste (Kaléo films France/Abel Films Maroc/Entertainement films Poland).She is currently developing her first feature-length fiction film, Le bracelet.

Le Bracelet

It was decided by the judge, in agreement with the parties concerned, that Romain, an 18-year-old high school student from Grenoble, would finish serving his prison sentence with an electronic bracelet at his father's house in a Provençal village. Pierre Fayard, Romain's father, a 40-year-old forester, has not seen his son for 15 years, when he put an end to a chaotic past. Pierre has rebuilt his life with Nadia and has two children aged 12 and 14. Romain comes to disturb the idyllic life of this little family, and quickly finds himself sidelined by the young people of the village, jealous of the magnetism of the stranger...
