About the Author
Born in Athens in 1981, Nikoleta studied chemical engineering before turning to cinema. She received a scholarship to attend the Polytechnic School, where she bought her first camera. After studying film in Greece and the UK, she began focusing on character-driven stories that explore common struggles in unique ways, often set in work environments shaped by social change. Her films have been screened at festivals such as IFFR, Palm Springs, and Tirana, and she has taken part in both Berlinale Talents and Sarajevo Talents. She recently completed the short documentary Non-essential Movement, funded by the Greek Film Centre. With ten years of experience in editing, Lice is her first feature-length screenplay.
