About the Author
Of Tunisian and Algerian descent, Nassim Bouguezzi is an actor who has always lived in Marseille. He began his career at the age of 16, first performing in theatre before moving into cinema. Since then, he has taken part in more than thirty film projects. Today, he is taking a new step in his career by writing his own film, REGARD DE TRAVERS, a project selected for the 5th edition of LabSud.

Anouar, a boxer with a scarred face, is wrongly accused of a teenager’s murder and becomes the perfect scapegoat. Only Sarah, a young blind woman ignored by everyone, notices the flaws in the investigation. Armed with her sharp hearing and keen attention to detail, she embarks on a frantic race to prove Anouar’s innocence before justice, swayed by appearances, condemns him.
