
About the Author
Lou-Anna is a screenwriter and director based in Montpellier. After directing over a dozen self-produced short films, she has just completed her first professionally produced short, Sous le diamant la crasse, with Hinano Films, and is developing her first feature film, Les Soeurs Zemganno, with Ghosts City Films. Her favorite creative format? Territorial residencies, where she can move between artistic processes and film workshops for diverse audiences. In the gaps of her busy schedule, she snatches hours here and there to return to her first love: literature. Her debut novel, Cyrielle Brume, was published in January 2026 by Hall n°12 Editions.

Facing eviction and too old for the streets, an unexpected opportunity arises: managing a retirement home for former sex workers, offering her a way out of poverty.
