About the Author
As the daughter of a physics and chemistry and history teacher, it was only natural that I should turn to the cinema. After studying writing and directing, I worked as a grip and then in production, joining Les Fées Production and then Pierre Grise Productions. At the same time, I directed several short films (Supporter, L'oeil du Cyclo and Max). In 2015, I joined the script workshop at the Fémis and developed my first feature film ‘La Palme’, set in Cannes. In 2021, I will be developing a second project, Carcasse, at the Screenwriting Workshop. I'm also co-writer of Avec l'humanité qui convient, directed by Kacper Checinski.

A perched village. It’s the French Riviera. A crazy pruner, obsessed with roundabout landscaping and absolute respect for the laws. It's Jessica. A free and funny investigative journalist who flirts with legality. It's Samir. A corrupt mayor who throws his town into a security madness. He's an idiot. Samir's love will push Jessica to free herself. Jessica's revolution is underway, bulldozer style. This is the palm.
