About the Author

Background

Davide Petrosino, born in Nocera Inferiore, is an Italian director and screenwriter. He holds degrees in film from DAMS and the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome. His short film Il ricordo di domani premiered at the Camerimage Festival and won several awards. In 2019, he co-directed the documentary Strike! Fighting for a Future, which received the Best Documentary Award at the Riviera International Film Festival. He is currently completing the short documentary Sacre Spire and developing a feature film, Ciccio was there, with Pietro Jellinek. In 2024, he received a Special Mention at the Premio Solinas for No Miracles.
