Self-taught, Clément Bompart completed writing/directing training at the IUT di Corsica with the G.R.E.C., which produced his first short Pour l’amour du jeu (2022), drawn from his experience as a high-level footballer. A member of Main Film (Montreal), he moves between France and Canada, follows experimental (Bolex) and hand-processing workshops, and develops “handmade” projects. He then directed Lucía and Breathe (2022–2023). He is preparing his first fiction feature Vestiaire clos.
