El Hajj

Myriam el Hajj began her film studies in Beirut to pursue them in Paris. In 2009, she directed Off war Beirut, a short film selected in many festivals. In 2009, her short film project Last call was selected for the writing lab "De l'écrit à l'écran" at the Namur Festival (Belgium). In January 2015, she completed the editing of her documentary cinema film A time to rest/Trêve which was selected at the Nyan Vision du réél festival, as well as at the Agadir Documentary Film Festival where it won an award.Besides her activities as a filmmaker, Myriam el Hajj teaches cinema at ALBA in Beirut (Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts).She is working on her first feature film fiction project, Look at the burning city.
